Wesley is 7!

Wesley had a fun "family birthday party" on her birthday...complete with a Barbie Princess cake...the skirt was a little askew...but it was just what the birthday girl wanted from our local Kroger! Finn had to help blow out the candles too!

The "fairy bower"...Wesley wanted to have a Fairy Tea Party for her birthday so her friends decorated fairy wings, then for their annual appearance, Harmoney the Clown and Abby Grace the monkey came to do a magic show but most unbelievable of all was a surprise visit we had from 3 soldiers...Wesley had decided this year that it was "better to give then receive" so she asked that her friends bring snacks and good things for our soldiers in Iraq. Thanks to our dear Claudia who shared the story with some soldiers we were so very honored to welcome to the party SSG Williams, Sgt Silvrants and Sgt Fontes...these wonderful soldiers came to personally thank Wesley and her friends for their gifts. Wesley was stunned! Erik and I are so proud of Wesley...she truly has a good heart!

So I turned 40...

And my dearest friend, Janey and my Mom planned a surprise party for me...I never caught on! I was shocked! Absolutely, shocked! It was so much fun...the party was fabulous, the decorations were WOW and just look at the cake...shoe boxes and a monogrammed purse! And shoe cookies for favors!! On top of all that...Shef was there and Janey's sister, Julie! What an amazing day! I am so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends!
