Jiles Michael

Jiles Michael born June 6, 2008...9 lbs 2 oz and 22 inches...to Aunt Shef and Uncle Brad

Wesley and I went to visit Jiles when he was 2 weeks old...he is a doll! Absolutely precious!

Jiles first bath was not a happy experience for him!!

Movie Night

Movie night is a big deal at our house...not sure whether it is the movie or the popcorn that is the best part of the night!? However, Wesley has learned to share her popcorn!

Finn's FAVORITE thing to do is clean! Especially dishes in the sink...and if there are no dishes in the sink he finds dishes to put into the sink so he can clean them! He definitely did not inherit this trait from his parents...we can thank Mimmi for this one!

Duchesne Academy Prize Day 2008

Wesley "graduated" to Kindergarten! Prize Day is really amazing...all the girls dress in their Sunday best...sing...get their certificates to move on up to the next grade...prizes for honor students.

It is really wonderful to behold!

And I cannot believe that Wesley will be in Kindergarten.

Field Day 2008

Field Day is an important and exciting tradition at Duchesne...the Lower School girls are divided into teams, each a different color...the "big" girls, the 4th graders, are captains of each team...Wesley's team is PURPLE. To start Field Day off right, each team performs its cheer for the parents...Wesley needed THREE purple bows in her hair to complete her ensemble!

There were alot of fun games...and serious competition! Each girl got a medal strung on a ribbon of her team color...then there were awards for 1st through 3rd...Wesley was under the mistaken impression that this was not a "winning thing" because everyone got a medal...when her team did not get a ribbon she was not at all happy about it! Watch out next year...Wesley knows it's a winning thing now!
